Off Road Courses North West
With beaches, lakes, forests and some of the UK’s largest cities, the North West has a varied landscape. This is why we have carried out a lot of training, delivering off road courses in the North West.
Because of the diversity within the region we have worked extensively with Cheshire Wildlife, Isle of Man Fire and Rescue, Kendal Mountain Rescue BT and the Cumbria Fire Service.
Most of our off road training in the region takes place on site, at your working location. This gives drivers ‘real life’ practical practise and learning. It means that they encounter the same surroundings, hazards, and landmarks that they would during their professional day-to-day life. However, when we book with us we will build a RoSPA approved training course around you. Our off road driver training will be tailored to cover specific scenarios, situations and equipment to fulfil any PUWER and Health and Safety requirements.
If it is not possible to safely carryout the training at your location we have access to a number of off road sites throughout the North West.

We deliver off road training across the North West. However, if we are unable to deliver training on your site we have a dedicated centre.
Set over 300 acres, our training centre is based in Kendal in the Lake District. It boasts a great variety of dense woodland and rugged upland terrain. It’s the perfect place for our 4×4, winch courses, trailer training and Quad bike training.
The ground offers so much for those looking for Quad bike, ATV and UTV training. The course has fast flat lands, rocky fell land with steep angles. Plus is a range of challenging obstacles including a balance beam and seesaw. More technical driving is covered on the track which includes rocky woodland and traveling over stunning open hill fell land.
For 4×4 off road training this site offers sleep inclines, an routes with lots of natural challenges. You’ll be challenged on a variety of different driving conditions with steep banks and wooded areas. and regularly train the Hereford and and Worcester Fire Service, as well as independent agricultural and horticultural businesses.
In the North West we have worked extensively with Cheshire Wildlife, Isle of Man Fire and Rescue, Kendal Mountain Rescue BT and the Cumbria Fire Service.
