Celebratory Conclusion to Our 4×4 Instructor Programme on the Isle of Man

Exceptional Achievements with Isle of Man Fire and Rescue

Today marked a fantastic finale on the Isle of Man as Beyond Driving wrapped up the latest session of our 4×4 driver instructor programme. In a gratifying conclusion to our course, we had the pleasure of delivering this comprehensive training to the diligent team at the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service. The day was filled with significant milestones, including the successful requalification of all three candidates who are now certified as in-house trainers. Adding to the celebration, we also shared a joyous moment wishing a very happy birthday to Murray, one of the dedicated course participants.

Introducing Qualsafe Awards

Our 4×4 instructor programme is proudly associated with Qualsafe Awards, one of the largest Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisations in the UK. This prestigious affiliation underscores the rigorous standards and quality of training that Beyond Driving adheres to. Qualsafe Awards is renowned as the leading Awarding Organisation for first aid qualifications in the UK and plays a pivotal role in certifying various other qualifications that are integral to professional and emergency services training.

The Qualsafe accreditation ensures that our qualifications are not only nationally recognized but also respected across diverse industries. These Ofqual regulated qualifications are meticulously developed and reviewed by industry experts, providing a robust framework for learners. The training enables them to proficiently prepare, drive, and manoeuvre vehicles in a variety of scenarios, encompassing both emergency and non-emergency roles. This broad spectrum of training is crucial for professionals like those in fire and rescue services, who must be adept at handling complex driving situations under pressure.

Highlights from the Course

During the intensive training session, candidates underwent rigorous practical and theoretical assessments, demonstrating their competence in advanced 4×4 driving techniques and instructional skills. The training covered various critical aspects:

• Understanding of 4×4 and All Wheel Drive (AWD) transmission systems.

• Techniques for safe and effective vehicle manoeuvring in diverse terrains.

• Comprehensive risk assessment and management strategies.

• Development and delivery of training modules tailored to specific operational needs.

The culmination of the course not only reflected the hard work and dedication of the participants but also highlighted Beyond Driving’s commitment to delivering training programmes that meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
