Beyond Driving has once again successfully delivered a Qualsafe Assured Winch Instructor Course, this time with Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service. Over the course of the training, we developed and refined advanced winch operator techniques, focusing on real-world recovery scenarios and instructional delivery to ensure that all delegates gained the necessary skills to provide high-quality, in-house winch training for their teams.

Winch Instructor Certification – Success Across the Board
After four days of intensive training, all three delegates from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service passed their final assessments with flying colours. This means they are now fully qualified to deliver professional in-house winch operator training, ensuring continued high standards of safety and competency within their organisation.
We conducted the final stage of assessments at Northampton Merewell Fire Station, where delegates showcased their instructional skills, demonstrating proficiency in both theoretical knowledge and practical winching operations.
