Towing Course - Training & Assessment
We train many organisations from agricultural and horticultural to fire and rescue in the correct and safe use of trailer handling, with our specific off road trailer course. However this towing course has been specifically designed for on road drivers, looking to tow trailers in built-up urban areas. This ensures you have the knowledge, skills and awareness of the potential dangers.
For on road trailer towing and handling we focus on the risks presented for driving a trailer and by other road users. We also examine the risks on driving in heavy traffic, small rural lanes and how to uncouple your trailer safely.
No matter what the terrain, trailer handling always comes with additional risks. Our Trailer handling courses are developed inline with organisational needs and H&S policies. We also offer a RoSPA accredited Off Road Trailer course.

Training is delivered face-to-face by our fully RoSPA certified instructors. Training can be delivered at one of our centres or at your premises using company vehicles and is a mixture of practical training and assessment.

Instructors

RoSPA Certfied Instructors Training
Though there is no requirement in law to use DVSA ADIs for B+E training, our instructors are qualified driving instructors, who are also RoSPA certified 4×4 & trailer trainers, as there is an occupational road risk issue inherent in all trailer use (with elements included in the off-road courses). This provides both us and you with an added level of expertise to draw upon, as well as safety in the knowledge that the training has been conducted to the highest level.
