Driving Instructor Training

Beyond Driving provide Driving Instructor Training, and write instructor training information, courses and news articles. Though we focus mainly on instructor development for the fleet and professional training markets, we can also provide ORDIT registered trainers for ADI part one, two and three. We can provide guidance on the Disclosure and Barring service applications (DBS - formerly CRB - checks) as well as training for entry onto the DVSAs Register of Fleet Driver Trainers.

We can provide extensive CPD options for existing ADIs and have developed specialist programmes for instructors in industrial and construction companies, the military and the emergency services.

Beyond Driving also run standards check training courses, enabling instructors to keep up with changes to the former check test, brush up on coaching techniques, fault identification and analysis, as well as session risk management both with learners and with driving development sessions with experienced drivers.

Specialist Driving Instructor Training and Development

In conjunction with our sister site we provide advice and courses for Off Road Instructor Training.

We are specialists in training and development of instructors for 4x4s, ATVs and quad bikes. We have worked with several organisations including emergency services and search and rescue teams, as well as international companies to ensure that their instructors are trained to best practice methods relating to their field of work. From security and hostile environment driver trainers to specialist recovery organisations, we can ensure that instructors have the right information and skills that you require.

We are available to provide advice for instructors looking to become Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors. We have worked with several Lantra-Awards and RoSPA 4x4 trainers who are now looking to become registered, both to improve their professional accreditation and to increase the scope of training they can provide to include on-road 4x4 courses.

For those companies who are searching for an in-house solution, but for whom the DVSA process may be too long or expensive, we also provide Driving Assessor Training.
