On-Road 4×4 Driver Assessment and Training
4×4 driver assessments and on-road training is essential for fleet drivers. 4×4 vehicles offer a variety of advantages over standard vehicles on and off-road, but they also present new limitations and risks to the professional driver.
Due to the larger engines and weights involved in driving 4×4′s on the road, we can also make dramatic improvements to fuel efficiency through simple defensive and environmentally friendly driving techniques, often saving companies up to 15% on their fuel bills. One of the main reasons companies use 4×4 vehicles is for emergency driving during winter conditions, for these operators we run a 4×4 specific Winter Driving course.
Our on-road 4×4 training is delivered by Fleet registered DSA Approved Driving Instructors who have specialist knowledge of the handling and capabilities of 4x4s and off road vehicles.
Cost: from £70/candidate for assessment only and as little as £100/candidate for familiarisation training including practical driving coaching sessions.
Duration: from 90 minutes to full day courses.
Venue: Can be undertaken at from your workplace or at our conference facilities.
Certification: Beyond Driving. (All on-road training is undertaken by DSA fleet registered ADIs.)
