Emrys Kirby – 4×4, Health and Safety

Published on 11 June 2013 in Our Trainers
Emrys Kirby is a specialist 4x4 trainer with H&S and fleet management qualifications

Emrys started his driving career early, using Land Rovers to navigate around the highlands and islands of Scotland, often in remote areas with a distinct lack of tarmac. His knowledge of off-road driving is impeccable.

This inate understanding of the machines he uses is tempered with an ability to explain them in simple terms, pragmatically and enthusiastically. This skill is also employed in his regular columns for Classic Land Rover magazine.

His work as a fleet manager, trainer and O-licence holder, along with his health and safety training has made him invaluable to Beyond Driving on matters of best practice within the industry.

Emrys runs training from his base on the border between Lancashire and Cumbria.
