How much are Driving Lessons?
Driving lesson prices will depend on your area and the amount and duration of lessons will depend entirely upon the candidate.
Our trainers will keep you updated on how your employee is progressing and where possible will provide you with an assessment of how many lessons they will need in order to be safe to drive as part of their job.
As a rough guide, we recommend that drivers undertake 90 minute lessons, preferably twice a week. The Driving Standards Agency have released figures to the effect that the average successful test candidate has undertaken 45 hours of training, with 22 additional hours of private practice.
Professional driving lessons, from reliable and well qualified quality driving instructors will vary from between £30 - £40 for a 90 minute session. Professional training can often be offset against tax. There may be grants available depending upon your area - contacting your local businesslink is often a good place to start.
